This is the PDF edition of the TtS! For King and Parliament English Civil War rules. These popular rules enable two or more players to fight a tabletop English Civil War battle with figures in any scale, based for pretty well any rule system, in around two hours. The game is played on a gridded cloth and uses a revolutionary activation system, with movement, shooting and combat driven by chits or playing cards. It is a fast, brutal yet simple system, which nonetheless incorporates many of the features of early renaissance warfare.

The rules are supported by a free set of additional, optional rules and addenda called “Mercurius Civicus” and by army lists. There are also several scenario books and standalone scenarios.

This 78-page PDF includes army lists, diagrams and numerous images of beautifully painted wargames figures and battles and is just under 9MB in size. It is designed to be viewed on a tablet; players can take advantage of numerous hyperlinks which facilitate movement around the rules.
