WSS Podcast 89 - Terrain talk with Joe Bilton

Guy and Jasper had an excellent talk with Joe Bilton about his fabulous capacity to build terrain layouts, but that ran a bit longer than normal, the rest of the podcast was curtailed. More on terrain from the team next time. This is bookended by the regular news, some good, we hope, WSS news, and what we've been up to. Look for Guy's blog on WSS Online here and the list of websites affected by the TradeStands outage and alternative means to contact them here.

Brilliant Gary! I am so close to retiring and looking forward to it immensely. I am lucky enough to have the basement for my own and plan on setting up a 5’X8" board for a gaming table.

Since I retired last year I’ve been finding ways to store my armies and navies. Brigades and ship types are already separately stored in 4 Litre “really useful” boxes which are then stored in 170 litre storage boxes in my back garden now that a neighbour has cleared all the brambles etc. away. These big boxes ensure the weather doesn’t get at my stuff and also keeps squirrels and slugs etc away from them. Also I can fight small (6 × 4 foot ) games on my trestle table outdoors and have a bbq at the same time. Attending big venues is impractical for me as I am mobility impaired so I don’t travel so this is my solution for storage whilst continuing to wargame and make models (which are displayed indoors) rather than have a storage place off site. I hope this is a help for others who have disabilities.
