Pick a print!
In the past, we've made a few prints of some of the outstanding art we were privileged to publish in Ancient Warfare (and see, of course, The Art of Ancient Warfare Special). Some of those went out of stock, and they were always a bit of a storage and logistics hassle. However, we've now found a new partner with printing facilities worldwide and excellent packaging to ensure your prints arrive in good shape. That makes new prints (and perhaps some other printed items) a possibility again!
To start off, we selected four of the best centerfold images that would make for good prints in A3 (40*30cm, approx 16*12"). And now you get to vote! The winner will appear on August 8th among the prints in our webshop.
NB: only votes on the form below count - voting is open until midnight (CET) on August 7, 2024.

It has to be Alexander – leading from the front – great artwork
As an Alexander the Great fan I would like to have the battle at Granicos printed.
I like the relative simplicity of “Augustus’ Triumph” and the striking contrasts between the red of the lictors tunics, the white of the senators’ togas and the blue of the sky. But the drama of “Alexander at the Granicus” cannot be overlooked. Therefore, in first place, Alexander wins over Augustus, primus inter pares but second here, and I place “The Battle of Ecnomus” third.
Excellent prints all, excellent magazines all.
Świetna realistyczna kreska, bajeczne kolory i doskonała kompozycja, czapki z głów
All great works, but Radu Oltean illustration is surely the most original. Great point of view, great drama and superior technique
Alexander for me 1st, 2nd Ecnomus, 3rd Delium but all great artworks.
