Join our Advent Calendar!
For the past few years, the team behind Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy magazine, and podcast has been creating an advent calendar. This year, we thought we'd open up our Advent so our readers could show off their work as well. That's not getting us off the hook; each of us will be making our own contribution.
In previous years, Jasper, Guy, Chris, and Mark have all chosen a subject and painted the miniatures in five or six steps. This year, we will be joined by Angus Wallace, our WS&S Magazine podcast host. We also thought that our readers and/or listeners would appreciate being able to join in the fun.
Here's what we plan to do: On December the 1st, we'll post a blog outlining each of our projects. We will then take it in turns to update our followers on how we are progressing, with the aim that we will finish on December 25th. We'll do a second blog on Christmas Day showing our completed projects.
Here's what we are asking our followers to do. In the first place, please enjoy our posts. If you’d like to paint along, feel free to do so! Please join in the fun and send us photos of your progress. You can send them directly to me at editor@wssmagazine.com or post them on social media with the hashtag #WSSAdvent24. We really hope you’ll do so - we’ve planned a few days in the Advent period to show off your work too!
